Spirit Rock Meditation Center
in the Buddhist tradition

Thank you Gary,

I am sorry that I was as distracted as I was with my meeting that wrapped around your presentation. I very much would have preferred more ease on my time to have been able to welcome you and chat a bit beforehand and after. I am very grateful for the opportunity to have dropped in to full attention to your talk though.

There has been a flood of rave reviews for your presentation and the awakening that you brought to many of us on how to see disabilities for what they are and not allow them to get in the way of seeing the humanity that is present in all the potential that humanity affords. I already feel the sense of ease around this for myself and have every confidence that I will be able to offer this sense of ease to all who wish to attend here (regardless of what our disability may be).

I personally feel that your presentation was every bit as Dharmic as it was advocacy for the disabled and objectively reasoned. The connection to spiritual growth and personal evolution were amply clear to me. Thank you again, Gary. It was a real delight.

I will surely stay in touch and I will look for ways that we might continue the conversation broadly in our community. But, definitely, I want to stay in conversation with you. And I will not only happily and confidently recommend you as a speaker and teacher to other organizations but I will actively promote you to those that I know of that are consciously tending to their diversity awareness. (And to those who are not even more so!)

Be well Gary,
