Dear Gary,

Thank you so much for so ably being our emcee at the New England Regional Spinal Cord Injury Center at Boston Medical Center 2008 Stepping Forward – Staying Informed Consumer Research Conference in Boston.

Your ability to play a variety of roles in the spinal cord injury community is entirely unique, and you demonstrated them all so well at our conference. We received many positive comments from our attendees about your presence. Having you emcee the event really brought the entire day together.

As a speaker you laid the groundwork and set the tone for the day with grace and humor. As emcee you kept the proceedings moving, on time, and introduced each speaker with energy and respect. As facilitator, you led and contributed to the question and answer periods with great skill. And your juggling always leaves a lasting impression! Underlying it all is your own deep experience with SCI – both personally and professionally.

We are not aware of anyone else with your particular mix of speaking and leadership ability, good spirit, and insight into SCI. We deeply appreciate your help in making this year’s event such a grand success, and look forward to having you back!

With warm regards and our highest recommendation,

Steve Williams MD
