sanofi aventis

Dear Gary,

You made a real and remarkable difference at sanofi-aventis in helping us launch our “Mission Possible” initiative to foster disability awareness throughout our company. Your general session presentation and the afternoon workshop with Human Resources staff achieved two notable effects.

I truly feel that our attendees have a changed understanding that the lives of people with disabilities are not necessarily limited or marked by grief. Through your teaching, as well as your personal example — you’ve shown us that everyone has great potential, and that disability need not preclude a person’s ability to make real contributions to company goals and community values.

Your insights into disability etiquette struck a loud chord. Attendees reported feeling much more clear and comfortable about their interactions with people with disabilities — namely to relax and engage them as people first. They also appreciated your emphasis on independence, having choices and respect. These are, indeed, the way any of us want to be treated.

You are a wonderful speaker, Gary. Your passion and real expertise were impactful. Your natural, energetic style and sense of humor drew everyone into your message. We also appreciated your skill as a facilitator and the program design for the afternoon session. You led a truly productive discussion, focusing so well on what the group most needed.

It has been such a pleasure to work with you, Gary. Your commitment to professionalism and organization made bringing this event to fruition that much easier. Thank you for being such an excellent partner and advisor during our long process of making this happen — and for its undeniable success.

It is with great confidence that I would gladly and enthusiastically encourage any organization to welcome the relevant business message you carry, as well as the engaging and enjoyable experience your provide.

With warm regards,

Maureen Rucker
